RMC Consulting Incorporated provides professional services to individuals, corporations, trusts and other professionals.  The firm was established in November 2005 by R. Mitchell Cove, CA, CFP to be a non-traditional accounting firm concentrating on advisory services rather than the traditional assurance services.  Compilation of financial statements and the preparation of income tax returns are part of the firms services, but the audit or review of financial statements is not a provided service.  Instead the firm prefers to concentrate on areas that involve planning and consulting (See Services page).

Mitch's background includes 8 years in industry and 12 in the practice of public accounting since earning his CA designation in 1986.  This blend of experience results in an understanding of the challenges faced by managers and entrepreneurs from a business and personal perspective.  Mitch is a member of the Halifax Estate Planning Council and the Halifax Chamber of Commerce.
